He worked for a leading global wind energy consulting engineering firm for over ten years and has delivered a wide range of engineering consultancy services to leading renewable energy developers and International Development Aid organizations. His services have been instrumental in the development of several wind farms now operating in New Zealand and multiple solar photovoltaic and battery storage projects in Pacific Island countries.

Will has a Master of Engineering degree, specialising in wind energy engineering from Auckland University and a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) degree from Southampton University.
