Blair, a whenua adviser at Tāmata Hauhā, hails from Ōrewa and is of Te Rarawa and Ngā Puhi descent. He brings with him a diverse range of experiences and perspectives from the primary sector, along with a deep passion for diversifying land use. As a Māori landowner himself, Blair understands firsthand the frustrations of applying for Government funding and the challenges of raising capital for the upfront investment needed to bring Māori land into production.

His hard-earned experience has been instrumental in the establishment of Tāmata Hauhā. With a background in water quality, land management, and years spent working alongside Māori landowners, Blair has developed a valuable understanding of the opportunities the whenua offers. These insights have shaped his commitment to supporting whānau in finding investment pathways that lead to sustainable prosperity. Blair holds qualifications in commerce, aquaculture, operations, and logistics.
